Homework Clubs
At St. Charles School, there are two homework clubs, one for grades 3-5 and one for grades 6-8. Credentialed teachers facilitate both. During Homework Club, students may receive small group instruction, or one-on-one individualized help, or spend time going beyond assignments into extension activities—working independently or together with classmates.
Robotics Club
Creative Robotics Lab is an afterschool program open to students in grades 5-8. Managed by parent volunteers, Robotics engages students in a variety of hands-on, exploratory, and inventive projects. Parents model inclusive behavior and respect for all ability levels. Students who participate are encouraged to be creative thinkers and active listeners, and to share ideas with others with respect and kindness. Students design and build two or more robotics projects throughout the year.
Drama Club
Our drama club is a parent-led club that provides instruction and practice in all aspects of producing a school play, including stage and set development, acting, singing, and ensemble work. Stay tuned for news about the spring production!
Miscellaneous Club Groups
Other clubs include Christian Service Club,Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, Church Choir, Academic Decathlon, Student Council, Yearbook, and Terrific Tiger Show. In the summer, students in grades K-5 are welcome to participate in Scripture Camp, a week long summer program staffed by parish volunteers and centered on the teachings of Jesus.
