K-8 Advantage

A K-8 education provides a strong sense of community at St. Charles because students and families are in one place for a longer period of time, building stronger relationships with peers and teachers across grade levels and creating a more cohesive community.  

K-8 also allows for several cross-grade interactions which provide older students’ leadership and mentorship opportunities through our buddy programs and school families. These relationships also help the younger students build confidence and social skills. 

A K-8 education benefits the academic achievement of our students due to fewer transitions and more continuity with teachers who can better understand a student’s needs by building upon their knowledge over time.

St. Charles is a family and home for our students for nine very important years in their lives. We are honored with that responsibility and treasure each student and family that is a part of our St. Charles community.
