Welcome to St. Charles School!

We are a K-8, coed, Roman Catholic parochial school located in San Carlos, CA, serving families in St. Charles Parish and the surrounding community with the love of life-long learning, dedication to Gospel values, and the drive for academic excellence.

Founded in 1950, St. Charles School has responded to the spiritual, educational, and socio-emotional needs of children for more than seventy years. In the St. Charles community we respect the role of parent as the primary educator, and we work in partnership with parents to develop the spiritual, socio-emotional, and academic characteristics of the children we teach. As a Catholic school, we celebrate our freedom to worship in liturgies, engage in prayer, and thank our loving God for the abundant gifts bestowed upon us.

Jesus walks within each of us, and our everyday words and actions help us shine in his glory. Through God’s grace, we grow in spirituality, thoughtfulness, achievement, and responsibility. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we look forward to working with you to promote spiritual development and academic excellence in the context of Catholic Christian faith.
