Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Stephanie Souza
I was born in San Rafael and lived in Terra Linda until I was five. I attended two elementary schools in Santa Rosa, Yulupa (K-3) and Strawberry (4-6). I loved all of my elementary school teachers very much; my second grade teacher was a man named Mr. Gordon. After school, I played soccer and sang in a children's choir. I moved to Utah when I was in high school because my dad got a job in Salt Lake City. I was in high school when the Olympics came to town. My choir sang at the opening ceremonies. My favorite events that I went to were men's hockey and speed skating. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education. (Go Utes!) I have two siblings, a younger sister Kimberly (who is in medical school at Stanford) and a younger brother Jeff (who is a Ute like me!) I have taught for seven years, one in third grade and six in second. I grew to love Utah, but California has always been my home and I couldn't be happier to be back in the Bay Area. I feel very blessed to be a part of the St. Charles community and can't wait to see what this year has in store!
