Each day begins each morning at Assembly with student-led prayer. Members of our community attend, including students, teachers, and parents. We ask Jesus to help us remember to respect everyone, show kindness to others, and find joy as we learn together. Additionally, we learn about the Saint of the Day to appreciate our Catholic heritage. Students pray throughout the day, for example before snack, before lunch, and at the end of the school day.
Enriching Our Spiritual Life
Students and teachers prepare and lead monthly liturgies and seasonal prayer services, for example at Thanksgiving, Holy Thursday, May Crowning, Special Persons’ Day, and our End-of-Year prayer service.
Eighth grade students participate in a 4-day retreat at the beginning of the school year at CYO camp. The focus is team-building, thinking beyond individual achievement and personal gain, reflecting on one’s relationship to God, and appreciating God’s gifts in our world.
