Welcome to St. Charles School! We are a K-8, coed, Roman Catholic parochial school located in San Carlos, California.
We are honored to serve families in St. Charles Parish and the surrounding community with our love of life-long learning, dedication to faith-based Gospel values, and drive for academic excellence.
Founded in 1950, St. Charles School has responded to the spiritual, educational, and socio-emotional needs of children for more than sixty years. We work in partnership with parents to support faith formation, attain outstanding achievement, and develop confident and successful students. As a Catholic school, we celebrate our freedom to worship in liturgies, engage in prayer, and thank our loving God for the numerous gifts bestowed upon us.
St. Charles is committed to continuous, rigorous school improvement that cultivates high achievement of all students. We prepare students to be Spiritual People, Thinkers, Accomplished Learners, and Responsible Citizens—enabling them to be effective and ethical leaders in our society.
Our team of professional, dedicated, and credentialed educators employs multiple teaching methods to provide rich learning environments. A robust resource program and multiple enrichment activities provide a full spectrum of learning opportunities for students. A fully wireless campus, classroom-integrated laptop computers, and digital teaching tools support student learning in the ever-changing 21st century world of technology.
Co-curricular activities, including Art in Action, Athletics, Robotics, our new Drama Club, and regular Homework Clubs, as well as after-school lessons in golf, tennis, and music, support growth of the “whole child.” Parent involvement is one of the hallmarks of our wonderful community! Every day, we celebrate the gift of our parents’ participation in the spiritual, academic, and social development of all St. Charles students.
Please enjoy your tour of this website as you learn more about our wonderful school! We hope you discover the spirit of St. Charles Pride, that which we build through
“Respect for All, Kindness to Others, and Joy in Learning”
May God bless you and your families!
